Jin Kay : In Praise of Shadows
While the Western World celebrates the beauty that’s exposed and revealed, the East rejoices everything that is hidden, quiet and mysterious. This collection is an exploration of the diverse and unique qualities of shadows
This makes me miss design school. One could always deconstruct (also a word I re-learnt in school) any concept to its unexpected depths. This project intrigues me for the simple fact how Kay takes a notion from a book and adds layers to it in more ways than one.
